Teaching
Learning theatre is stepping into a dialogue that stretches across centuries, one that reinvents itself each time we engage with it. I foster spaces where artistic excellence and nurturing collaboration coexist, and where students approach their work as part of a living lineage—connecting with their influences, history, and what is around them.
In these spaces, differences become strengths, and risk is welcomed as an essential part of discovery. The work is approached with both discipline and daring—holding fast to rigor while remaining open to experiment, surprise, and invention.
My mission is for students to find their place in this continuum, discover their communities, and make work that grows from their own truth while staying connected to something greater—creating theatre that dares, that pulses with urgency, and that cannot help but belong to this moment.
